ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. – A new work center has been created at Rock Island Arsenal – Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center. The Master Production Scheduling or MPS office coordinates and carries out long and short term capacity planning and scheduling while improving efficiency and productivity. This 12 employee team has a diverse background including capacity planning, resource management, operations management, estimating, production control and machining. The team’s goal includes achieving and maintaining desired production levels to meet original customer requirements by reviewing and providing viable solutions for capacity requirements, bottlenecks and constraints.
