Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center staff members view the Air Force Salutes Virginia Flyby from the center’s rooftop in Richmond, Virginia, May 12, 2020. The flyover was conducted by the Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team and the Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation. The #VAFlyBy was done in support of the Air Force Salutes initiative and was intended to honor the men and women of Virginia who are working as healthcare professionals, frontline responders, and essential personnel striving to keep everyone healthy and safe during the fight against COVID-19.
