Nick Cervantes, NCOIC of project integration with the 1st Special Operations Wing Innovation Cell, uses a 3D printer to print his design of a face shield for members of the 1st Special Operations Group, Hurlburt Field, Florida, April 30, 2020. A total of 150 face shields were created in one week, using eight, 3D printers on base, to help with the fight against COVID-19. Two designs were used in the process: one that utilizes a six hole-punched lamination sheet and one designed by Cervantes that uses transparency film held via neodymium magnets.
