U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nick Cervantes, NCOIC of project integration with the 1st Special Operations Wing Innovation Cell, uses a 3D printer to print his design of a face shield for members of the 1st Special Operations Group, Hurlburt Field, Florida, April 30, 2020. Cervantes partnered with the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron Operations and EOD shops, the 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron Library and the Air Force Repair Enhancement Program to use eight, 3D printers to create 150 face shields that meet Air Force Surgeon General design guidance.
