200506-N-DE082-1038 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 06, 2020) - Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Christopher Millis, from Sun City, Arizona, operates as a member of the ships basic reaction force and monitors the movement of a simulated hostage situation during an anti-terrorism training evolution aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Anti-terrorism training evolutions are held to ensure personnel are trained to fight threats aboard the ship. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
