200506-N-DE082-1013 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 06, 2020) - Yeoman 1st Class Robert Barker, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, operates as chief of the guard and prepares to take control of a simulated hostage situation during an anti-terrorism training evolution aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Anti-terrorism training evolutions are held to ensure personnel are training to fight threats aboard the ship. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
