200506-N-DE082-1006 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 06, 2020) - Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Adam Tackett, from Piqua, Ohio, plays the role of an armed threat and calls the Pilot House to inform the ship of two simulated hostages during an anti-terrorism training evolution aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Anti-terrorism training evolutions are held to ensure personnel are trained to fight threats aboard the ship. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
