200429-N-HR150-1023 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 29, 2020) - Quartermaster 3rd Class Irish Catibog, from Dededo, Guam, scans the horizon for surface contacts while operating as the quartermaster of the watch (QMOW) in the pilot house of U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The QMOW's responsibilities revolve around the routine and safe navigation of the ship. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
