    SIGONELLA, Italy (April 20, 2020) Naval Air Station Sigonella Commanding Officer, Capt. Kevin Pickard and Lt. Cmdr. NAS Sigonella community donated more than 1,800 lbs of non-perishable food items and more, as part of a “Good Neighbor” campaign to assist local Sicilian communities affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. NAS Sigonella’s strategic location enables U.S, allied, and partner nation forces to deploy and respond as required to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa and Central Command.
