Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Jacob Althouse with the Expeditionary Medical Facility New Orleans Detachment updates the duty roster during shift change at the personal housing unit (PHU) in support of the Department of Defense response New Orleans, La. April 14, 2020. The PHU is designed for symptomatic patients with pending COVID-19 test results. The EMF works in coordination with federal, state, and local health officials to ensure equipment and resources are in place and are operationally capable to safely treat patients. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
