Holly Sapien with the Expeditionary Medical Facility New Orleans Detachment conduct shift change brief at the personal housing unit (PHU) in support of the Department of Defense response New Orleans, La. April 14, 2020. The PHU is designed for symptomatic patients with pending COVID-19 test results. The EMF works in coordination with federal, state, and local health officials to ensure equipment and resources are in place and are operationally capable to safely treat patients.
