Pfc. Jordan Tovarnak, a combat medic from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, collects a sample from a patient’s mouth at the drive-thru screening site at Fort Stewart, Ga., April 7, 2020. The drive-thru screening process helped screen and test patients for COVID-19, without the need for them to leave their vehicles. This allowed cross infection prevention by keeping people, who wanted to be tested, from gathering in large groups at medical facilities.
