200331-N-GP839-0023 SAN DIEGO (Mar. 31, 2020) Hospitalman Ashley Cotcher, assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), performs a mock COVID-19 nasal swap screening with Hospitalman Angel Ortega, Mar. 31. NMCSD’s COVID-19 screening tents allows servicemembers, their dependents and beneficiaries to receive COVID-19 tests, limiting their contact with others including NMCSD staff. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
