    Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19       

    Javits New York Medical Station personnel unload 531st Hospital Center equipment from a truck. The supplies range from items that will allow medical staff to conduct routine patient care, to equipment to build an intensive care unit. Soldiers, along with FEMA personnel and other federal, state and local agencies began operating a field hospital out of the JNYMS, March 30, to relieve the burden on local hospitals.
