    Snow falls on cherry blossoms along McGuire Avenue at Yokota Air Base, Japan, March 29, 2020. Cherry blossom trees bloomed at Yokota eighteen days earlier that last year. The base recorded more than 2 inches of snowfall during a 12 hour period. This was the fourth morning of the base entering HPCON Charlie in response to the wide-spread novel coronavirus pandemic; Yokota Airmen maintain mission readiness in spite of external challenges.
