Florida Army National Guard Spc. Pamela Johnson, a Ft. Myers native that works as a part-time UPS employee and stay at home mom outside the Guard works at the collection stage for the Orange County Convention Center Community Based Testing Site. Wilson is part of a small team that is charged with tracking all the supplies used, like personal protection equipment.
Johnson, who has a high energy, high motivation demeanor about her, can be seen keeping Soldiers near her in good spirits.
Johnson says she's happy the community benefit has been provided and that the Guard can support it, allowing her to see her own impact more than she has on previous state active duty missions.
"I love that we're doing it, I love that we're out here and actually playing a part in it," said Johnson. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Spencer Rhodes)
