Michael Camarse, from San Diego, California, the damage control assistant aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), calls away a simulated casualty during a general quarters training evolution aboard Blue Ridge. General quarters training allows Sailors to prepare themselves in the event of actual casualties. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
