200328-N-HR150-1017 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 28, 2020) - Ensign Joseph Roehm, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the locker officer for repair locker 5, organizes a hose attack team during a general quarters training evolution aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). General quarters training allows Sailors to prepare themselves in the event of actual casualties. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
