Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, U.S. Army Garrison’s command team Capt. Mark Gadell and 1st Sgt. Jerome Pendergrass devote time every day to planning for improvements and changes to policies pertaining to the quarantine and isolation buildings. They say they were given responsibility to setting up the facilities March 17 and had it up and running five hours later in preparation for the potential of COVID-19 reaching Fort Knox.
