FORT LEE, Va., - Fort Carson, Colo., Culinary Specialist Pfc. Oscar Cardona earns the title of Armed Forces Student Chef of the Year and a spot on the U.S. Army Culinary Arts Team during the 45th Annual Joint Culinary Training Exercise Awards Ceremony at the Lee Theater March 13. The JCTE ran from March 7-12 at Fort Lee, Va., and is an annual opportunity for new military chefs to mingle with seasoned veterans of the culinary field; to receive tips from American Culinary Foundation judges; and to learn more advanced techniques.
