A recruit of Company H, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, attempts to complete a max set of pull-ups to complete one part of his final physical fitness test June 14 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The PFT is comprised of a max set of pull-ups, a timed three-mile run and a max set of crunches in two minutes. Company H drill instructors supervised the recruits and encouraged them to put forth maximum effort.
