John James, outgoing commanding officer, VT-6 “Shooters,” with a meritorious service medal for outstanding service from 2017 to 2020. The medal signifies James’ contributions to the aviation training mission with VT-6 and was awarded during a change of command ceremony at Whiting Field on Feb 27.
