U.S. Air Force Special Tactics operators assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing, initiate live fire during a training mission, March 5, 2020, near Banak Air Station, Norway, as part of cold-weather operation. The special tactics training event included the movement to contact, and hasty ambush based training scenarios. The 352d SOW deployed to Norway at the invitation of Norwegian forces as part of a larger-scale arctic conditions operation, in order to enhance warfighter capabilities in challenging arctic and mountainous terrain, within special operations forces and conventional forces and operations.
