200306-N-HR150-1010 SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 6, 2020) - Culinary Specialist Seaman Raymond Binder, from North Las Vegas, Nevada, dons a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) outside of damage control central during a main-space fire drill aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19). Main-space fire drills are conducted regularly to ensure damage control personnel are trained and prepared in the event of an actual casualty. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
