Sep. 1, 2019, a contract went into effect allowing contractors, instead of maintainers, to wash the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors for the 1st Fighter Wing. The contract decreased the workload on the 1st Maintenance Group Airmen and gave time back for them to focus on their mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Tristan Biese)
