An Armed Forces of Liberia soldier, sitting in front of his troops, watches the closing ceremonies following completion of Exercise WATCH OVER II near Teh, Liberia, June 1. The week-long exercise served as the AFL’s annual training event and tested their ability to move a battalion-sized asset across a defined battle space in unfamiliar terrain. Following the exercise, the AFL hosted a closing ceremony and bonfire to express their appreciation for the support of the local communities and to introduce the soldiers of the AFL to local citizens.
