A local Liberian teenager watches the closing ceremony while members of the Armed Forces of Liberia listen following the completion of Exercise WATCH OVER II near Teh, Liberia, June 1. The week-long exercise served as the AFL’s annual training event and tested their ability to move a battalion-sized asset across a defined battle space in unfamiliar terrain. Following the exercise, the AFL hosted a closing ceremony and bonfire to express their appreciation for the support of the local communities and to encourage interaction between the AFL troops and the local citizens.
