A reconnaissance team member with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, utilizes a Marine Corps Cold Weather Infantry Kit after a raid on a long range radar site in Northern Alaska, Feb. 27, 2020, during U.S. Northern Command exercise Arctic Edge 2020. Arctic Edge is a biennial Homeland Defense exercise designed to provide high quality and effective training in the extreme cold-weather conditions found in arctic environments.
