Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment "Tomahawks" and 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment launch small unmanned aerial systems during a Raven Operator Course on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) 12, Feb. 2020. The training is to qualify Raven Operators in preparation for the 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team upcoming National Training Center rotation. Ravens can be rapidly deployed and perform intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance operations.
