VOLOS, Greece (Feb. 2, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Michelle Shoenberger, left, an assistant air officer with Command Element, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Hellenic Marines with 32nd Marine Brigade, 1st Division, and French Marines with 21st Marine Infantry Regiment receive a brief during Exercise Alexander the Great 2020 in Volos, Greece, Feb. 1, 2020. This exercise conducts integrated battalion-level command and control and company/platoon-level combined arms training to increase interoperability between the U.S. Marine Corps and Hellenic and French Armed Forces, reassure Allied and Partner Nations, improve readiness, reinforce relations, and improve the ability to deploy alongside partnered forces.
