POLARIS POINT, Guam (Feb. 7, 2020) Capt. Jeff Bierley, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), thanks his crew during a change of command ceremony, Feb. 7. Capt. Al Alarcon relieved Bierley as commanding officer of the ship during the event. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo Pacific region.
