Spc. Sarah Cash, a food-service specialist assigned to the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., and attached to the 593rd Sustainment Brigade’s Dining Facility, JBLM, meticulously sprinkles the final seasonings on top of the stuffed bell peppers she prepared for the Philip A. Connelly Food Service Installation Command’s regional competition, June 12. The 593rd Dining Facility competed at the Installation Command’s regional level after being nominated for best-in-food-service at JBLM earlier this year and will compete for the Department of Army level in October if they win.
