Pvt. Trentarius May and Pfc. Luis Martinez render a final salute to their battle buddy Pfc. Connor James McGurran during a memorial ceremony Jan. 16 at the Daniel Circle Chapel. May and Martinez spoke about their friend and teammate, telling stories of how he made them laugh and offered his support during times of stress during the training cycle. “Your Soldier wasn’t just a Soldier ... he was our brother,” May said during his tribute.
