Sgt. Maj. Carlton W. Kent, sergeant major of the Marine Corps, visits Marines from Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines, at Observation Post Sina'a in Al Fallujah, Iraq, on Sept. 23. Kent traveled throughout the Al Anbar province of Iraq meeting with Marines and service members currently deployed with II Marine Expeditionary Force. II MEF is deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
