The 3rd Battalion, 157th Field Artillery Regiment of the Colorado Army National Guard, conducts a change of responsibility ceremony for its command sergeant major position January 4, 2020, at Fort Carson, Colorado. Sgt. Maj. Deborah Manzanares inherited the senior enlisted position of the 3-157th from Command Sgt. Maj. John Assaad. Manzanares is one of the first female Soldiers to serve as a command sergeant major of a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System field artillery battalion.
