U.S. Air Force North Carolina Assistant Adjutant General for Air, Brig. Gen. Stephen Mallette (left), presents Master Sgt. Daniel Judd, 263rd Combat Communications Squadron (right), with an award during an all-call held at the New London, N.C. Air National Guard Base (NCANG) headquarters, Jan. 12, 2020. Members of the NCANG celebrated the accomplishments of Master Sgt. Judd who attended the United States Marine Corps Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy last year in an effort to better understand the traditions and customs of a sister service. Since attending the academies, Judd has implemented U.S. Marine Corps. practices such as sharing unit history and helping newer Airmen feel more involved with more responsibilities.
