Deputy Commanding General of Multi-National Division-North Brig. Gen. Mick Bednarek converses with Iraqi army commanders during the Northern Za'ab Security Meeting held Sept. 26 in Qayyarah West. The meeting brought IA, Iraqi police, coalition forces, and provincial governors together focusing on improving security in the Za'ab triangle. Other areas covered included; the IA taking charge of assisting the IP in the area, IP recruitment, better communication between both security forces, and both committing their respective forces in a coordinated effort with three coalition forces' combat outposts in that region.
