A group of U.S. Navy sailors in white dress uniforms are lined up, likely during a homecoming or arrival ceremony. The foreground sailor, wearing a chief petty officer's combination cover with USN insignia, is adorned with a colorful Hawaiian lei and holds a bouquet of red roses. The setting appears to be a naval pier or dock in Hawaii, suggested by the tropical vegetation and lei tradition.
