    The Marine color guard parades the colors during the decommissioning ceremony, Sept. 26, for amphibious transport docks ship USS Shreveport (LPD 12) at Naval Station Norfolk. Shreveport was commissioned on Dec. 12, 1970, in Bremerton, Wash., and has served across the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans with 24 commanding officers and seven Presidents.
