Master Sgt. Richard LaFrance, 36th Airlift Squadron superintendent, prepares to drop one of two Senior Airman Jeremy Jutba Jutba-Hake memorial bundles during Operation Christmas Drop 2019, Fananu, Federated States of Micronesia, Dec. 13, 2019. Jutba-Hake was a loadmaster with the 36th Airlift Squadron who passed away unexpectedly due to an unknown heart condition during Operation Christmas Drop 2015. Since that day, aircrews from the 36th Airlift Squadron continue to honor Jutba-Hake by adorning bundles with his photos and writing messages of remembrance to be airdropped on the final day of OCD.
