    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Dec. 10, 2019) Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) leadership, Capt. Lisa Mulligan, commanding officer; Master Chief Tameeka Washington, acting command master chief; and Capt. Carolyn Rice, executive officer, pose for a photo with Santa’s helpers. NMCP staff members and the American Red Cross volunteered alongside Santa and his helpers to deliver presents and stockings to the children. Operation Santa, which is sponsored annually by the American Red Cross, visits staff members and beneficiaries throughout the medical center, handing out candy canes and gifts, and stopping for photos along the way.
