PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Dec. 4, 2019) Ensign Melissa Anderson, assigned to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s (NMCP) Progressive Care Unit (PCU), wears beer goggles and rides a bike to see how drinking alcohol changes depth perception. NMCP’s Health Promotion and Wellness Department staff members displayed and passed out information to NMCP staff and visitors during the Impaired Driving Health Fair on Dec. 4. The event featured informational pamphlets and statistics, provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to educate the medical center staff and beneficiaries.
