FORT BENNING, Ga. – Col. Matthew Scalia, commander of U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning, speaks to an audience of Family housing residents during a housing town hall meeting here Dec. 3. During the meeting, officials said Fort Benning continues to make marked progress in its ongoing campaign to improve housing services. Recent progress includes a shorter waiting list for homes and rising customer satisfaction ratings. Fort Benning oversees more than 4,000 Family homes, which are managed day to day by a private company, The Villages of Benning.
