    191127-N-PG340-1028 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 27, 2019) Builder 3rd Class Stephen Wetmore, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, compacts asphalt with a walk-behind roller at the K-Span Warehouse construction project on board Camp Shields, Okinawa. U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with NMCB-5 are installing a ramp wing to improve operational logistics efficiency on board Camp Shields. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
