    191126-N-PG340-1147 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 26, 2019) Engineering Aide 3rd Class Adam Amar, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, fills compression test cylinders to test the compressive strength of the concrete at different time periods during a concrete pour at the K-Span Warehouse ramp wing construction project site on board Camp Shields, Okinawa. U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with NMCB-5 are installing a ramp wing to improve operational logistics efficiency on board Camp Shields. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
