An Australian Army soldier, deployed with Task Group Taji 9, observes Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) conduct squad movement and ambush training, at the Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Oct. 21, 2019. The development of skills required for conducting an ambush with proper tactics and procedures helps further enhance the core infantry skills of Iraqi Army brigades enabling them to secure and stabilize areas of Iraq cleared of Daesh. Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve will continue to support our ISF partners as these increasingly capable forces lead the way in pursuit of the lasting defeat of Daesh.
