191105-N-DI108-1073 KEYPORT, Wash. (Nov. 5, 2019) Cmdr. Benjamin J. Selph, outgoing commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Olympia (SSN) 717, delivers remarks during a change-of-command ceremony for SSN 717. Selph was relieved by Cmdr. James W. Steffen. The submarine is scheduled to begin the inactivation and decommissioning process at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The 35-year-old Olympia was commissioned on Nov. 17, 1984.
