Col. Steven Denney, director of Plans and Operations for the Kansas Army National Guard (KSARNG), address the competitors of the 2019 annual Kansas Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition during the closing ceremony held at the Great Plains Joint Training Center in Salina, Kansas, Nov. 3, 2019. Competitors completed an Army Physical Fitness Test, day and night land navigation, weapons qualification, the Air Assault obstacle course, a call for fire exercise, and a ruck march. Additionally, they tested on the new Army Combat Fitness Test.
