    Members of the West Virginia Army National Guard render a salute to the casket of Civil War Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Army Private James Calvin Summers during a reburial ceremony at the Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery in Institute, W.Va., Oct. 31, 2019. Summers served in Company H, 4th West Virginia Infantry during the American Civil War and took part in a major campaign in Vicksburg, Miss., May 22, 1863, for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor for gallantry.
