JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 22, 2019) – Naval Aircrewman (Mechanical) 1st Class Kevin Shoults, attached to Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, gets vaccinated at a flu shot exercise at Naval Air Station Jacksonville’s Hangar 117 on Oct. 22. Naval Hospital Jacksonville (including its five branch health clinics) is conducting mass vaccinations of active-duty personnel and health care workers aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Air Station Key West, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, and Naval Station Mayport. These mass vaccinations exercise the hospital’s pandemic flu vaccination plan, and provide the required flu vaccine to both active-duty and medical personnel aboard the installations.
